Finnzymes Diagnostics develops reagents and provides testing services to customers in the microbial, forensic and veterinary -diagnostic research fields. The company is a sister operation of Finnzymes Oy （founded in 1986）, focusing on development of molecular biology reagents, and Finnzymes Instruments （founded in 2005）, developing instrumentation and reaction vessels for PCR based applications.

The products and services of Finnzymes Diagnostics are based on amplification of DNA using PCR or Real-Time PCR technologies. Pioneering new technologies
Our product offering includes a variety of DNA polymerases, providing a suitable enzyme for all purposes, ranging from routine PCR to the most demanding high-fidelity applications. PhusionT High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase utilizes a unique fusion technology. This exciting new technology provides accuracy and speed previously unattainable with any thermostable DNA polymerase. Quantitative PCR, in which amplification of the DNA target molecule is monitored in real time, is a growing trend. Finnzymes offers versatile and reliable DyNAmoT qPCR Kits for this technology for different platforms and chemistries.

Finnzymes has also been working several years in the field of transposon technology. TGST, MGST, and STOPT Kits are innovative MuA-based transposon products developed to facilitate DNA sequencing and functional analysis of proteins.

Gene silencing, by using small interfering RNA molecules, has become a widely used tool to study gene expression and networks of gene function. Finnzymes is proud to introduce novel tools for RNA research. The ReplicatorT RNAi Kit employs a method using an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase to generate a large amount of dsRNA. The resulting dsRNA can be cleaved to produce a pool of siRNAs.

We collaborate with several research groups and companies to refine scientific innovations into useful commercial products for molecular biologists worldwide. We work closely with New England Biolabs, a world leader in the production and supply of reagents for the life science industry.
